In the tradition of Disney's classic holiday tales comes a heartwarming movie about the power of giving and the true meaning of Christmas. I eagerly anticipated this movie and it did not disappoint. It was by far my favorite of the "Buddies" movies.
The story was, in a word, adorable. I loved the dogS, I loved the little girls and I really loved all the musical numbers. I literally cried at a few spots (including when Santa lost his memory! SOB!). A small word of warning...some of the scenes are really sad and some parts of it might be a tad scary for smaller viewers.
This movie is a prequel to the 2009 movie The Legend of Santa Paws, which I also loved, but you can watch this movie having not seen the first and still know the story. It was very uplifting and I loved seeing how things turned out at the end (and I did cry! Sobby McGee!).
The Bonus features were really cute. I love deleted scenes and the music video and sing-along were really cute.
You'll love this movie! If you want something a little out-of-the ordinary, sweet and heartwarming, this one is for you. We're watching it AGAIN tonight!
